31st october '07 - man stroke woman goes terrestrial, again!
'Man Stroke Woman' which features The Sanderson Pitch track 'Dive' as its theme tune, is back on terrestrial TV channel BBC2 this evening at 11:20pm and on Wednesdays over the next month or so, having already premiered on BBCi and BBC3 earlier this year. Meanwhile, the band themselves are nearly done with the new album, which will be on sale very soon, with tracks from it available to hear on their MySpace.
1st june '07 - the pitch are back!
TSP are proud to be back playing at the Chapel Of Saint Barnabas, on Manette Street in Soho, next Tuesday (5th) - the magical and awe-inspiring venue with phenomenal acoustics, tucked away in the heart of town. Doors open at 7:30 and the music starts from 8. The band will be there in full, with support from the impressive Polar Bear and excellent The Portico Quartet. Entrance is £5 and there is a licensed bar.
22nd january '07 - man stroke woman returns
Series two of comedy sketch show 'Man Stroke Woman', which features The Sanderson Pitch track 'Dive' as its theme tune, premieres on BBC3 this Thursday night at 22:30, with episodes available one week in advance on BBCi (which means the first one is up there right now!). BBC3 repeats are on Thursdays/Fridays at 01:25, Fridays at 21:30, Fridays/Saturdays at around 1:40, and on Tuesdays at around 23:40.
8th december '06 - bignotes
TSP play Big Note, this Sunday (December 10th) at The Hope And Anchor, 207 Upper Street, N1 1RL. The boys take to the stage about 8:40pm and door price is £5 (£4 concessions or with flyer). Hope to see you there!
8th september '06 - september shows
You can catch The Sanderson Pitch twice this month. For a marvellous daytime event try The Mayor's Thames Festival, a spectacular, FREE, outdoor celebration for London - the world's most exciting multi-cultural city. The live music runs from midday 'til 10pm on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th and will be heavily supported by The Evening Standard, Metro, Time Out, The Guardian, BBC London and Radio 2. On Sunday the 17th, the boys will be on at 3pm, at the stage which will be at Bernie Spain Gardens, Upper Ground, South Bank, London SE1 9PP. Closest tubes are Southwark, Waterloo and Blackfriars.
Then on Wednesday the 27th, TSP will be playing at Under Solo (beneath Bar Solo), 20-22 Inverness Street Camden NW1 7HJ. It will cost £6 on the door, the show starts at 8pm, and it promises to be a treasure trove of acoustic gems.
19th june '06 - summer gigs
Couple more gigs on the schedule. On Tuesday June 27th Eddy will be performing the music of The Sanderson Pitch as part of an unsigned songwriters competition. We need your support in the crowd so he can win win win! It's in the centre of town at a lovely venue and there's only a £5 entrance fee - the Embassy Club, 29 Old Burlington Street from 8:30. On Thursday July 27th, the band play Kettners, 29 Romilly Street, and then on Friday July 28th TSP kick off the new D.O.G. night at 43 South Molton Street - £5 entrance and the boys start at 11pm.
19th may '06 - end of may gigs
Check out TSP at Jazz Fly at The My Place Lounge, 1-3 Trebovir Road, Earls Court SW5 9LS next Friday (the 26th). It's £3 to get in before 9:30, or £5 after, and then at G Lounge, 18 Kentish Town Road, Camden NW1 9NX on Wednesday the 31st. £4.50 to get in with a flyer or NUS, or £5 without.

If you weren't at last night's gig at Saint Barnabas Church you missed one hell of a performance. Sophie Barker joining the boys for a couple of numbers, the addition of a string quintet, and a truly stunning venue - it was incredible. As a result of this the boys will definately be performing there again in the very near future, so watch this space. For now though, make sure you dont miss the next gig at The Bedford, Balham SW12, on Thursday May 11th.

25th february '06 - tv news
'Man Stroke Woman', the new comedy sketch show that premiered on BBC3 late last year and which features The Sanderson Pitch track 'Dive' as its theme tune, is to finally get its BBC2 screening, starting from Monday March 13th at 9:30pm. Also, the band's acoustic cover of 'Eye Of The Tiger' has been picked for use in a TV documentary currently under production - more on that soon.

4th january '06 - hit sheet showcase
Join us for The Sanderson Pitch's first gig of '06, on the 18th of January. We've been invited to play at the Hit Sheet Showcase Night at west London's Cobden Club. It's a very prestigious event, so please come, lend your support, enjoy... and make us look cool!
Admission is £5 payable at the door on the night, but is by guestlist only, so we need to have your name down on the list as the venue is a private members club and they have a strict admissions policy.
